The first decision when choosing false lashes is how you want to apply them. FULLIN offers two different formats: self-adhesive clusters and traditional strip lashes. They can both add definition, but they use different application methods and need different preparation.
The difference at a glance
| What to compare | Self-adhesive clusters | Strip lashes |
|---|---|---|
| Format | Separate clusters that you place one at a time | A complete lash band for each eye |
| Adhesive | A built-in adhesive band; no separate lash glue needed | Separate lash glue required and not included |
| Building the look | Choose how many pieces to use and where to place them | Check the fit of the full band before applying |
| Between wears | Return to the case and check that the adhesive is clean and still tacky | Remove old glue from the band and apply fresh glue for your next wear |
Choose clusters if you want to build the look gradually
Self-adhesive upper lash clusters let you begin with a few pieces and add more definition as you go. You can keep the inner eye light, accent the outer corners or use more clusters for a fuller finish.
For soft, layered definition, compare Feather Wisps, with 12–13 mm lengths and a C+ curl. If you prefer an elongated finish, Fishtail Flare combines 10, 11 and 12 mm clusters with a C curl. Check the details on each product page and begin with fewer clusters while you learn the placement.
Prepare clean, dry natural lashes without oil or mascara. Lift each cluster close to its base with tweezers. Upper clusters attach beneath the natural upper lashes, close to the roots; keep the adhesive off the eyelid, waterline and eye. Follow the application and care guide for the full steps.
Choose strip lashes if you prefer a full lash band
Strip lashes come as a complete band for each eye. FULLIN's Bold Volume and Wispy Glam styles each contain five pairs, with 10–14 mm lengths and a C curl. Bold Volume adds fuller dimension; Wispy Glam gives a feathered, elongated finish.
These styles are not self-adhesive. Check the fit and trim the strip if needed, then use a suitable lash adhesive according to its manufacturer's directions. Glue is required and is not included in the sets. Position the band along the upper lash line as shown in the strip lash guide.
Reuse depends on how you remove and store your lashes
Remove both formats before bed and return them to their case. No washing is needed. For self-adhesive clusters, around 2–4 total wears per cluster is an estimate, including the first wear. Reuse only while they are clean, hold their shape and adhere securely.
For strip lashes, gently remove the previous glue from the band and use fresh glue for each application. Strip lashes can be reused for three or more wears with proper care, but the exact number depends on handling and storage.
Start with the finish you want
Choose the application method first, then compare length, curl and fullness. Our beginner lash picks can help narrow the choice. If you would like to try several self-adhesive styles, explore the Starter Kits, which combine three lash boxes and tweezers.
